Super Lemon Haze + K2 Grow Log ScrOG
Hello stoners,
Just dropping in with some questions regarding the scrOG setup.
Well yesterday i finally got a pretty good screen/cage that was laying around. Its a big metal one used for keeping dogs i think. Anyways its about the perfect specs for my room which is great. But its been laying around outside probably for years so i have a few concerns.
On some of it there’s a layer of rust-like stuff on it from it being rained on for so long. I’m wondering if thats a big concern? I’m guessing the ladies being in contact with rust is not good, but i have no idea nor have i found anything about it on the forums. Anyone have any insight?
Also, i’m wondering how i should go about scrOGing when i’ve been LSTing for the last week. Should i keep LSTing for a while longer to get some more off-shoots before starting and should i just cut away all the strings or leave them there under the screen when i put it over them?
Besides those concerns the LST is working great. New growth everywhere

New pics of the little ones. They’re looking great, thinking of putting the screen in for the scrOG next week….maybe sooner.
The last 2 pics are the K2, she’s got some frost on her now
So today i cut the string tying the girls down and put in the screens over them. So now i just play the waiting game until the screen is 60-70% filled underneath.

Thank you. They keep getting better and better with time, the soil mix has a little too much nutrients in them for tiny seedlings so they had to fight a little while ago. They won the battle though 😉
Pot size is around 10L i think. Maybe 8L…
The soil mix is from Holland and its called “Gold Label Special Mix”. Theres a link in my first post. Its really top quality stuff as far as the ingredients but like i said, just a little too much for young seedlings. 🙄

I was moving around the plants, trying to position everything nice and even under the lights and i was just a tad too rough with one of the fan leaves and it snapped off.

Today was their first day of flowering, now the fun stuff starts
The canopy is getting pretty lush now so its a good time to start, i’m kind of interested to see how this will affect the already flowering K2.
I uploaded a few pictures of a pic i made in paint that show my grow room and how its set up. Its not the most efficient setup but i did everything that i could do with the equipment i have. Works out very well for a scrOG setup with the intake tube running along the floor between the pots. They get really good air flow which is pretty important when they get this bushy.

I made a picture in paint showing how i plan to have the girls setup later in the scrOG. Please excuse my crappy paint skills (or lack of paint skills haha)
Seeing as how my screen is flat and doesn’t have a curve to it, which would be more efficient use of the light, i’ll be letting the tops on the outer edges poke through more than the ones in the center of the screen. I hope this isnt too ambitious for me though, being that this is my first scrOG.
Let me know if you think this isnt a good idea 😉
Anyways the girls are doing great and the screen is pretty filled now. I cant wait to see them start to flower!!
