• Seed paranoia?

does one need to be very very paranoid about having seeds delivered here?

like, as a rule, should one never have seeds delivered to the residence of a closet grower or is this a non-issue here, thanks in advance!

Any/all recommendations for expeditious and clandestine purchasing of same is also appreciated.

    I wouldn’t worry about it.

As far as I have read, cannabis seeds are legal to import/export/buy/sell in Sweden if you consider them to be collectors items. Otherwise they are illegal, but in reality the customs just don’t care*.
There is of course always a small risk, but if you’re that worried I would consider buying from a domestic shop, such as smoketower.com, rastshop.se or smartbar.nu

Keep your eye out for the word “lyxfågelfrön“, meaning “luxury bird seeds”. It’s the technical term that makes the sale and distribution of cannabis seeds legal. 🙄

*) I’ve never read anything about a bust caused by ordering seeds from an international webshop.

By the way, there is an English subforum here at Swecan:

naturally, they are to be used for training my parrot. I thought that was a given.

    thanks for the reply.

I saw the English subforum but it seemed under-read, and over-run with the Reaper working all sides of a conversation. Rather confusing.

Yeah, when a user account is left inactive for 6 months, the grim reaper takes over the account. It’s a safety feature I think. But don’t hesitate to post in the English subforum. As you see from the recent posts, all of them are answered. Your questions will not be ignored. :)

Give my best to your parrot.

Do you mean bying from known seed shops or bying from ppl here at swecan?

If you meant seed shop, then there shouldn´t be any problems at all, I myself have never heard/read anything about a bust cause of someone ordering seeds from a seed shop.

But if you meant buying seeds from other members I would take some precausions and NOT give out your own adress, instead try to work something out with a friend of yours who live nearby, or just anyone you trust who doesn´t grow or in your case, owns a bird with special needs..
That´s a easy and very good safety net in case anyone would feel like tipping the police.

    Best regards
