This is a guide on how to become a swecan member for all of you who don’t understand Swedish in writing.

1. Getting to the signup page:
  Click this link: https://swecan.org/modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=new_user
  You will now se a page explaining the rules of the Swecan forum, gallery and IRC. From here you click the “Jag har läst och accepterar reglerna” (= I have read and accept the rules).
  At the moment these rules are unfortunately only available in Swedish (we are working on that) but in the meantime you will find a summary of the rules here https://swecan.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=18309
2. How to fill in the form:
  “Alias” = Alias. “E-post” = E-mail address. “Lösenord” = Password. “Bekräfta lösenord” = Confirm password. “Lämna tom för att automatiskt generera ditt lösenord” = Leave empty to automatically generate password.
  When the form is filled in, click the “Ny medlem” (= New member) button.
  You will now get a chance to review your account information. If everything is ok click the button “Slutför” (= Finish), to change something follow the link “Gå tillbaka” (= Go back).
  After clicking on “Slutför” you will get a confirmation e-mail with a link to visit in the next 24 hours in order to activate your account. This e-mail also contains your username and password. Please observe that the account settings are cookie based.
3. Click the link in your confirmation e-mail. It will take you to a page stating that “Ditt konto är nu aktiverat. Var vänlig logga in här” (= Your account is now activated. please log in here). Click to log in.
4. Type in your alias and password and click “Logga in”
5. You are now at your personal page. to change your settings click “Ändra ditt konto”
6. Scroll yourself way down and change “Forum Språk:” to English and confirm by pressing the “Skicka” button.
  You can now move around easier, as long as you are logged in.[/list:o]
