Can bugs affect the THC Potency ?
Hi All,
Strange have same strain as last but not smelling ? into like 6 weeks ? they have been bugged
Both spider mite and some small green things look spooky in the Mag glass Can they bugs suck out the THC ? Or they just eat leave ?Thanks in advance

They don’t eat the THC, usually THC react as a bug repellent.
But the bugs that do attack the plant. Like spider mites and aphids drain the plant of energy by eating plant matter and/or sucking fluids. As the population increase it will show more on the host, and eventually kill the host plant.
A mixture of green soap, etanol and water will kill most pest. i usually do 1dl soap, 2 table spoons etanol to a liter of water. As you’re in the flower phase you don’t want to spray without control. This should be sprayed primary on the bottom side of the leaf. ( With spider mites repeat treatment every three days for about two weeks. This has to be done as the mixture isn’t strong enough to kill eggs, and three days are their hatching period. Still its very effective on hatched mites and any residues from the treatment will be harmless for both the plant and the consumer )
If the buds are attacked, give the plant a thoroughly shower (~25C water) with as high pressure as it can handle without breaking. And make sure not to overwater the plant in the process ( This is done with the purpose to wash the bugs off the plant, so use angels with the nozzle that will help rather than preventing this from happen). (Also, note that this method is straining to the plant and should only be used in consideration with the attacking pests impact on the plant (pretty much last resort))
If you start a thoroughly effort to terminate the pest, don’t forget to clean your growing area and nearby spaces. Bleach and water will kill most dormant pest.
Check other plants for the same pest
And of course this can be done in all kinds of moderated fashions in order to just decrease the population.

will suck the sap out leafes, to drink the sugars -> plant get less energy, thats all.
So in other words, less vital plants, they also loose som green areas, leaving white spots/areas on leafs what cant use photosynthesis.
I extremely strongly doubt it will affect thc potency in any way.

need check see if they got in the buds I do The shower I see you guys know a lot I lost count this time of how long so use a microscope So all ready Will clip clip Hmmm I flushed bit late so had to double flush And then leave in dark for 4 days ……Hmmmm we see also this weed no smelling Its SSkunk clones ….?
