Ballast wiring HELP

Marijane here!
I cant for the life of me figure this ballast out. After lots of searching online and no answers (not in any language i can understand at least) i’ve started to give up….this is the last thing i need to get done before i can start on my third grow as well so i could really use a hand here….i’m rather useless as an electrician
Picture#1 shows the actual ballast with the “igniter unit” which i have connected myself, nothing too tricky there..I assume the right side of the igniter unit connectors are for the actual lamp and the left is the power cord which will lead to the wall.
Picture#2 is where i’m confused….this is the picture of the igniter unit and the part i’m supposed to connect the cables. There are little white tabs above the holes that i assume are meant to secure the wires somehow but i have no idea how this works. I pop up the tabs, insert the bare wires, then push down the tabs again…..but theres nothing holding them into place. The wires simply slip right out, that tabs dont appear to “lock” the wires in any way. Clearly i’ve missed something.
Picture #3 just show the wires i’m using from an old CRT monitor. Pretty sure its blue= neutral, brown= hot, and yellow/green= ground. Correct?
Picture#4 is the light/cooltube fixture.
Any help is greatly appreciated, this is all i need to do before i can start the germination process and installation of my long awaited cooltube.

Jag flyttar posten till Cannabisodling.
I had the similar problem, but as I remeber, you should depress the tab and then insert the cable. When you release the tab it locks the cable.
