Well, most people in Sweden are not interested and they are convinced about, that have you once smoked a marijuana cigarette, you will end up as a heroin-addict.
And in some Bundesländer, you can use grass for “Eigenkonsum” (I don´t know the English word for it), and in Sweden you can´t

If you don’t have anything better to do on that day please come to Stockholm and join the million marijuana march on the first of May this year.

The level of repression in Sweden in these matters is so high that even most Swecan members probably will be to paranoid to participate in the demo so international support would be greatly apreciated, at least by me.

But please leave the firecrackers and stones at home – no riots!

oh i would’ve loved to join that march!! regretfully I’ll still be abroad so it’s not gonna happen (this year..next year FOR SURE!! and no riots, i promise I’m actually very peaceful, despite the nick! hehehe)

I’ve been away from sweden for about four months now and it’s such a relief!! my god people are ignorant over there! I used to get paranoid quite often when i smoked in sweden if i had to do something while i was stoned. i, of course, beleived it was because of the weed or hasch but I’m absolutely sure now that the main reason was basically the attitude back home that caused it, the mass hysteria if you like. i wish all of you nice people at swecan could join me for a lovely relaxed smoke here in beautiful sydney instead with all my pothead friends!

Yes, I’m exploring germanspeaking “kifferforen”, marijuana-communities. Its a very new an interesting movement since 2002. I’ve visited now 28 such communities with about 39.000 members (clearly many are not active, but many are active). There are circa 20 communities, which I shall visit.
Unfortunately there are no english-sections. But I think they would be created in near future.

yes it’s all right, now scancan is working. Yesterday it didn’t. “Our” english-section is ready. We now build up a thread “hampscene in www” (similar to “kifferscene im Internet”). Here the beginning of this project:
