    Now to a small problem.
As you might have noticed on my pictures… it looked like
the plants was feeling abit hangy. Almost like the humidity
were too low. I raised the humidity and there was no positive
response from my (hopefully) nice ladys… so what could it be ?

Well, the solution was simple. I just turned the light out for 6 hours
a day.So now I am running the 300w LE bulb 18/6. This raised the stems
and the curly leaves disseapered. I have never came across a plant
that dont like 24 hours of light before. Now I have. I see no other
    explenation for it.

I also raised the lamp 30 cm to test my theories. And the results were
the same. They did not like the lamp as close as I had it earlier.
So, just a reminder for all of the LE growers out there… if the leaves
starts to curl and the plant looks hangy (looks almost like overwatering
problem) try to raise the bulb…

30cm? Isn’t that a bit excessive? Mine are only like 10cms from the bulb..tops. Mine are 200w though, surely the difference in heat emissions cant be that big, can it?

No. It was not heat related. Maybe the plants got stressed because of too much light.

Here are the plants. All of them have just received a “Fuck I Missed”.
As many relates to as FIM. This refers to an (depending on how u see it)
unsuccessful pruning. You leave some of the top, instead of cutting
it all of. This way your plant hopefully will get more topnodes than
2, that you get when pruning them ordinary stylee.

I was too lazy to LST theese plants and since I want two
mothers… I decided to FIM them all instead.

My investigation says that thoose holes are burnmarks. Been spraying the plants with water twice a day now and no bugs are found. So this hafto be it. If it aint a very sluggish caterpillar that hides very well.

Okay friends. Time for an update.

Since its soon time for flowering, I prepared my growroom for this.
One humidifier (cold air) works ok, but sounds awful much:

    http://img174.imageshack.us/my.php?image=37xa0.jpg

An inline-fan that blows about 200 m3 / hour. Kinda decent for my space:

    Preparing the inline-fan:

    My sweet sweet friends:

I put up a BIG BIG poster on the wall. Unfortunatly… i turned the wrong side up starting with July : Here I write all dates which can be of interest
regarding all my grows, flowering dates etc. Useful when I start my SOG:

    41be5.th.jpg
    http://img258.imageshack.us/my.php?image=41be5.jpg

I also hung up a pair of easy-rolls:

    42fi9.th.jpg
    http://img182.imageshack.us/my.php?image=42fi9.jpg

The temperature is rather low when running LE. Even lower now when
the humidifier is turned on. Hm, maybe abit too low:

    http://img247.imageshack.us/my.php?image=43ny1.jpg

As you can see, the plants are doing OK. Some yellow leaves
that probably had something to do with the low humidity I had in the growarea. It can also be a case of over-fertilizing. I had substral mixed water in my spray-can, and forgot about it :| I spray my plants rather often… Whatever the cause, hopefully I wont see anymore of thoose:

Here we have a couple of the FIM’d tops, starting to evolve:

    Camera frenzy –>
One of my meerschaum pipes (sjöskum). Expensive stuff.

Oups, whats that ? Another meerschaum pipe ? :P

I guess that was all i had to offer my fellow growers. Until next time, just remember to keep your stash safe. Peace out.

Looks like a grow with massive potential!

About your soilmixture, i planned on using some sort of gravel myself but i kind of wussed out, my plan was to boil the gravel as i was afraid of salts(speculations) but seing your plants, how healthy they seem to be, maybe my concerns were a bit to much?

The sandy soilmix works well. But I would recommend
a sterilized mixture. I think the sorgmyggor slept in the
sand and came awake in the closet…

I have now placed the plants in big plastic-bags instead
of the small veg containers. Cheap is king. Will update asap.

I would say that the sorgmyggs :P came with the soil. I think sand is too dry for them to lay eggs in.

I really like the meerschaum pipes :)

Looking forward to harvest time :D

Looking really great! Hope the plant recover from the nute-burn.

I tried subtral once and found it too be harch to the plants. Its design to be used a maximum of once a week. Your soilmix prolly hade enogh nutes to take them through veg..? Cannabis fertilizers are designd to be used regualy and seldom chock the plants.

Think you had nute stress and not light stress. When you turned down the light I think you gave them rest and a chance to recover. Looks healty now, but i cocos you would have had 3 times thicker stems :P Actually i love to see low cost projects that shows that you can get good results with love and knowledge :)

Which seeds had the mutants? Foilar feeding young plants often couse burns and holes. Very strain dependent, but some strains that get nutes on the leaves get totally burned. Growing herijuana now, and thoose were extremly sensetive upp to 3 weeks old.

Spray with regular water often to keep humidity up, with no nutes there shouldn’t be any burns. Seach for “segelsduks metoden” to get an easy and and cheep tip to raise humidity.

    cheers
